ABOUT
Classically trained in Grand central atelier, New York with over 6 years of experience in painting, he is a skilful artist in portraiture and figurative work.
He has won scholarships throughout his academic studies and has been exhibiting his work with galleries in Los Angeles and New York while he has been commissioned from several art collectors around the world.
He creates contemporary portraits through a collaborative process. His work brings together influences from the painting tradition of the Renaissance and Classical Greek art combined with modern elements of design and minimalism, resulting in portraits which are elegant and contemplative. An underlying element in most of his paintings is the deliberate absence of background, creating in this way portraits that seem to suspend in time and space.
